SEVERE TREMORS
BIHAR SHAKEN AGAIN OUTBREAK OF PLAGUE FEARED (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) CALCUTTA, February 22. (Received Feb. 22, at 9 p.m.) Earthquakes of varying intensity, with heavy subterranean rumblings and eruptions of sand and water from fissures, accompanied by cyclonic hailstorms, are terrifying survivors in the stricken areas of Bihar. Three,severe tremors were recorded yesterday in Bonnili, Madras Presidency, and Dhubri, northern Bengal. Relief workers in Bihar face an outbreak of plague, which has already caused ten deaths in the Bettia and Mahnar districts.
