LODGES IN GERMANY

POWER OF MOTHER CONCERNS BERLIN, January 17. General Goering has deprived three great mother lodges of their power over daughter craft lodges, which are now able to dissolve on a single member’s motion, or automatically if the membership is below seven. REASON FOR THE ORDER.* LONDON, January 16. (Received Jan. 17, at 9.30 p.m.) The Berlin correspondent of The Times states that General Goering, whose order is likely to result in the dissolution of most of the Prussian Freemasons’ lodges, says there is no reason for their existence since Nazim created national unity. Moreover, lodges are suspected to be under Jewish influence and, being international, they might be hostile to Germany.—Times Cable.
