UNEMPLOYMENT CAMPS

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —It has come to my notice that the management of the White Star Motor Services has been conveying parcels of food and clothing to the men in the unemployed camps without charge. This act of generosity is more commendable in view of the fact that it has been conceded to the men for some time past without the idea of business gain.

I would like to mention that the men concerned are deeply grateful for the service that has been rendered them and I think I can confidently say that they are unanimous in thanking the White Star management and its drivers for it;— I am, etc., Grateful.
