GERMAN CHEMISTS

MANY EXILED IN BRITAIN KNOWLEDGE IMPARTED. < € LONDON, October 30. The Daily Herald says: British chemical manufacturers are taking full advantage of the expert knowledge offered by German chemists exiled by the Nazis. The ingredients of a large number of medicines hitherto only obtainable in Germany have-been revealed. Doctors and chemists have received a list of 161 such preparations, which are now being manufactured in Britain, and it has been found possible to produce many preparations much cheaper than the prices hitherto charged in Germany, with the result that these are now available to the poorest patients.
