ASSYRIAN MASSACRES
DISCUSSION BY THE LEAGUE
IRAQI DELEGATION TO ATTEND.
{British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 23. (Received Sept. 25, at 5.5 p.m.) The Iraqi delegation to the League hopes to arrive at Geneva early next week in order to be present when the Assyrian question comes up for consideration. Owing to the recent death of King Feisal it was impossible for the delegation to reach Geneva at an earlier date, and the League Council, after considering the request from the Iraq Government, yesterday agreed to a short postponement. It is expected that the question will come up for consideration about October 2.
