(From Our Own Correspondent.) MILTON,. September 25. GIRL GUIDES. The annual sports meeting for the South Otago Girl Guides' Sports Cup will take place at Milton on Saturday, October 14. VALEDICTORY SOCIAL. A complimentary social evening was tendered by Lovell's Flat residents on 'Saturday evening to Mr and Mrs J. Junge and family on the eve of their departure for Westport, where Mr Junge has been transferred on promotion to the position of ganger on the Railways Department's permanent way. Appreciative addresses on Mr. and Mrs Junge's services to the district were made in presenting them with a beautiful teaset and also stainless knives and forks, and best wishes were expressed for their future welfare. > On Friday evening the combined Lovell's Flat Bible classes entertained two members of the family, Mr Vincent Junge and his sister, Miss Olive, at a farewell social. The former was presented with an inscribed and autographed book from members of the Young Men's Bible Class, and Miss Junge with a beautifully-bound Bible from the Young Women's class.
