(Received Sept. 24, at 9 p.m.) The Public Works Administration is studying an application for a 30,000,000dollar loan for the construction of five huge landing bases for aeroplane traffic across the Atlantic. The Seadrome and Ocean Dock Corporation, in making the application, said that dromes anchored at regular intervals would permit a safe, rapid and regular flying service between this continent and Europe. A GIANT AEROPLANE. TRIALS AT, KHARKOV. LONDON, September 23. (Received Sept. 24, at 10 p.m.) It is revealed that trials are being made at Kharkov of a giant aeroplane, with accommodation for 128 passengers. There are 16 compartments, each with four sleepers' berths, in addition to a cabin, a bar, and a promenade down each wing.
