NEW CENTRAL STATION LOAN OP £25,000. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 22. Formal notification of the sanction by the Local Government Loans Board of the proposal by the Wellington Fire Board to raise a loan of £25,000 for the purchase of the Clyde Quay school site for the erection of a new central fire station, was read at a meeting of the Fire Board to-day. The conditions made by the Loans Board are that the term of the loan shall not exceed 20 years and that the loan shall be repaid by equal, aggregate annual or half yearly instalments of principal and interest at the rates as stated by the Loans Board. Payments of interest and the repayments of principal are to be made in New Zealand.
