AEROPLANE CRASH

PILOT BEFORE COURT (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 22. As a sequel to an aeroplane crash at Jo’hnsonville a year ago to-day, when a Wellington Aero Club Moth was totally destroyed by fire after hitting a house, Arnaud Henri de Tourettes was charged to-day with flying in such manner as to cause unnecessary danger to persons and property, and with carrying out flying which, by reason of the low altitude and proximity to persons and dwellings, was dangerous to the public safety. He pleaded not guilty, and the case was adjourned to October 6, so that necessary witnesses might be obtained. Up to this morning a summons to another defendant had not been served.
