BIDS BY ENGLISH PILOTS,
LONDON, September 20. (Received Sept.* 20, at 7 p.m.) A new Bluebird is being built for Sir Malcolm Campbell in a secret workshop in the Midlands. He hopes to travel 300 miles an hour either at Daytona or on the new track at Salt Lake City. Simultaneously the motor boat, Miss England 111, is being fitted with 2000 horse-power Rolls-Royce Schneider trophy engines with a view to a dramatic bid for the double speed records on land and water.
