QUEEN, CARNIVAL
CORONATION CEREMONY It is anticipated that there will be a large attendance to-morrow evening when the coronation in connection with the queen carnival will be performed in the Town Hall. A meeting of the subcommittee appointed to make final arrangements for the occasion was hold last evening, and details were discussed and approved. The proceedings on Thursday promise to be of a spectacular nature, and in order to cater for the entertainment of patrons it was decided to arrange a short programme of musical items to precede the Coronation Ceremony. The questions of costume and of robes, of crown and sceptre, of pages and trumpet calls, and of procedure generally have been thoroughly investigated, and it may be taken for granted that everything of this nature will be quite in accord with custom and official decree. An examination of the box plan at the D.I.C. discloses the fact that comparatively few seats remain unreserved in the circle, and that the front stall seats have also been largely booked.
