THE “NEW REVEILLE”
For the musical extravaganza which will open at His Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday for a season, more than 260 performers are rehearsing daily. Mr Lints’s “ Reveille ” productions are wellknown throughout New Zealand. During the last 14 years ho has produced 48 shows, staged 370 performances, and more than 13,000 performers have come under his tuition. Mr Lints carries £I2OO ■worth of scenery, properties, and electrical effects for the present production. He has discovered several who have made names for themselves in the theatrical world, and has found another in Dunedin. Apart from the brilliant ensembles, song hits, eight ballets, statuary, acrobatics, and novel attractions, the sketches to be presented are short but clever. Miss Dessa Stabb, Miss Sylvia Alexander, Miss Dorothy Scoullar. Mr E. Coughey, and Mr E. Stephenson are the players. The display of hand-coloured photographs of 30 different choruses and ballets now on exhibition in the D.i.C. window is creating much interest, and are well worth seeing. The box plans are now open at the D.I.C.
