SYDNEY, September 13. (Received Sept. 14, at 0.15 a.m.) Mrs Guy Williams, the manageress of the New Zealand women’s golf tour, who was interviewed, said that the team had had a wonderful and most successful time in Melbourne and Sydney, and it would leave behind many warm friends whose hospitality had been overwhelming. The team was proud to take away the Tasman Cup. “We feel that these contests are most beneficial and an incentive to the younger generation to improve their play and aim to represent their country against the sister Dominion. We have been privileged to see some of the best golf in the southern hemisphere and we shall never forget it. I must admit that we have nothing to equal the championship courses in this country.”
