THE WELLINGTON TEAM. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 13. Owing to influenza J. R- Page is not accompanying the Wellington team which is leaving for Auckland to-morrow evening. The selector (Mr J- N. Millard) announces the following team: Fullback, Pollock; three-quarters—Fuller, Griffiths and Robins; Litburne and Xvillcen; half-back, Ivilby. forwards— Bydder, Lamboura, Dellabarca, Peck, Barry, Reid, M'Lcan, and Lama&on; reserves—Butler, Quaid and Atkins. A woman has been awarded £4OO at Los Angeles because her nose turned permanently blue after a motor accident.

Nearly 70 year 9 ago a boy of 10, J. W. Bodger, began to make a museum as a hobby. He'started, in bis bedroom, and stored his collection in boxes. To-day that little collection has become the official museum of Peterborough, England, with Mr Bodger as its curator and secretary. It is housed in a magnificent building presented to the local Scientific and Archeological Society. In the museum may be seen toys and treasures dear to the hearts of the present generation’s grandparents. There is a fine example of a Noah’s Ark, unusually small, with nearly a hundred occupants, including some injects and a pair of butterflies!. There are many dolls, including Dutch wooden ones, and two wooden monkeys-up-a-stick. There is a collection of baby clothes of all dates, a child’s parasol 100 years old, *nd a baby’s cane rattle.
