THE WEATHER
A light north-east wind and fine, but cloudy, weather prevailed in Dunedin yesterday. The barometer, after falling several points, was steady last evening at 29.65 in. REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, September 12. Light variable wind and wet weather prevailed to-day, heavy showers being experienced during the morning and overcast, threatening conditions afterwards. The barometer fell to 29.40 in early this afternoon, and is now rising. WELLINGTON, September 12. The skies were overcast in Wellington to-day. The temperature was mild, but became a little colder in the afternoon, when the wind, turned to the south. CHRISTCHURCH, September 12. The weather to-day was sunny after a light fall of rain last night. The maximum temperature was 64.4 and the minimum 4G.8. The barometer fell from 29.54 in to 29.48 in.
