AEROPLANE DISASTER

CRASH IN RUSSIA SOVIET OFFICIALS KILLED. MOSCOW, September 5. Five high Soviet officials were killed irhen a plane crashed at Lopasnia. They include M. Baranoff (head of the aviation industry) and his wife, M. Golzman (chief of civil aviation), M. Zaxa (assistant chiaf), and M. Gorbunoff (director of the military aviation factory). These represented the keenest brains in Russian aviation.
