DEFENCE SYSTEM
PLANS FOR REORGANISATION STRENGTHENING AIR ARM. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 6. Cabinet will shortly be asked to consider plans for the reorganisation of the defence system. The Minister of Defence (Mr J. G. Cobbe) has received reports from the officers in command of the various branches of the system, and will shortly be in a position to place the completed proposals before his colleagues. The immediate reorganisation is not expected to be extensive. It is probable that the main attention will be devoted to strengthening the air defences.
