SERIES OF THEFTS
TWO MEN SENTENCED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 1. Robert Bruce M’Kinley, aged 34, and Henry Ralph Hagen, aged 29, were each sentenced to two years’ reformative detention by Mr E. Page, S.M., They had pleaded guilty to charges of the theft of goods of a total value of £27 13s. The thefts were committed at Taihapc and Otaki, and the articles were sold during their peregrinations. It was stated that they had long lists of previous convictions,, and belonged tp an undesirable clement.
