MISSING CLIMBER

SEARCH FOR RUSSELL’S BODY IMPEDED BY BLIZZARD. (Per Dotted Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 3. A raging blizzard above and pouring rain below prevented any search being made for the body of Edgar Samuel Russell on Avalanche Peak to-day. The 40 climbers now at the pass will have to wait for better conditions before anything can be done. All intend to stay, ready for action. All the food required by the 40 searchers was supplied at the expense of the Canterbury College Students’ Association.
