ALLEGIANCE OFFERED
FORMER GOVERNOR OF JEHOL
JAPAN SCEPTICAL.
TOKIO, August 1. (Received August 2, at 8 p.m.) General Tang-u-ling, the former Governor of Johol, formally offers allegiance to Manchukuo, together with his army. The Government is investigating his relations with General Eeng-yuh-siang before admitting him.
