TROPICAL DISEASES
RESEARCH WORK IN LONDON
AVOIDING OVERLAPPING,
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 1 (Received August 2, at 5.5 p.m.)
After discussions spread over eight months a proposal has been made for amalgamation of the Ross Institute and Hospital for Tropical Diseases with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. It is thought that the amalgamation will avoid overlapping and benefit the work of both bodies in studying tropical diseases, both in the Empire and for the benefit of humanity. The Indian branch of the Ross Institute will become part of the amalgamated body.
