CITIZENS v. SPEIGHT’S
On Wednesday the Citizens No. 1 B team met Speight’s team on the latter’s range, the result being a win for the Citizens. The scores were as follows: Citizens. —Cunningham 76, Bevin 76. Gillan 76, Smith 75, Bowman 74, Bowie 74, Mason 74;—total, 525. Speight’s.—M’Cartuey 75, Maxwell 74, Croot 74, Davis 73. Bird 71, Barwick 69, Hunt 66;—total, 502. RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CLUB. On Monday the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Miniature Rifle Club will fire its practice shoot on the Drill Hall range. On Tuesday the A Grade team will meet Speight’s A Grade team in the interclub match, on Speight’s range, Dowling street.
