RADIO REGULATIONS
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir,—The reference by " Deceived to the fact that radio stations are ownpd '•bv the people for the people suggests that he is under the impression that he represents the majority of the radio listeners. I have, however, not yet met one of the same opinion as lie. On the contrary, it seems to be generally agreed that Mr Peter Dawson showed an extremely generous spirit when he gave up so much time to address his unseen audience "quite voluntarily "—which points to the fact that he received no remuneration whatsoever. As for any suggestion that he went before the microphone to advertise two of his friends, it seemed to me that Mr Dawson, in general appreciation of the musicians and teachers of Dunedin, chose the two most familiar names as examples of enthusiastic workmen in the cause of music.—l am, etc., A Debutante.
