The latest news filtering through thn Afghanistan-Indian frontier of the revolt in Chinese Turkestan reveals that the Moslems are making a big bid for power. They have already captured Tarkans, an important centre, hoping to secure control of the whole of Turkestan. The Chinese are unable to stem the advance. It is feared that Kashbar, the capital; wiU fall into the hands of the Moslems.
