UNEMPLOYED YOUTH

TO THE EDITOR.

Sib,—The writer would be pleased to learn if there is any person in Dunedin who would assist two youths under 20 years of age in the way of employment or shelter. One youth ha ß no parents living, the other youth's mother is dead, and his father, who has a large family, is on relief work. It is a pity to see mere boys walking the streets at night, for no doubt this offers temptation for them to commit a crime. lam not in a position to assist them for long, and I trust that this letter will meet the eye of some kind-hearted person.—l am, etc., L. H. Frew.

167 George street, May 7. [Our correspondent should communicate with the Vocational Guidance Committee's officer.—Ed. O.D.T.]
