DEATH OF MRS EDITH ROSSE (United Presa Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, Apiil 29. (Received April 30, at 6.30 p.m.) The Home Office has issued an order for the exhumation of the body, of Mrs Edith Marion Rosse, who died in September last, for the 15 purpose of a postmortem examination. ' Mrs Edith Ross.e, wife of a London theatrical artist and composer, who died at Maundy Gregory’s house in September, left her entire property, valued at £18,865, to Gregory. Gregory, editor of the Whitehall Gazette, was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment, and was fined £SO, with 50 guineas costr, at Bow street police court recently for an offence against the Honours (Prevention of Abuses) Act. LONDON, April 29. (Received April 30, at 7.15 p.m.) At the inquest" on the exhumed body of Mrs Rosse, Frederick Rosse, former husband of the deceased, gave evidence that he and his,-wife resided.in the lower half of Maundy Gregory’s house for two years, when they were legally separated. Although his .wife possessed a fortune he contributed half his income to her support —never under £364 yearly. She remained in Gregory’s house passing as his sister. The inquest was adjourned. Rosse told the newspapers that the inquiry into the death was started at the request of.himself and relatives.
