FAR EAST DISPUTE
CHINESE EASTERN RAILWAY JAPAN’S ASPIRATIONS. MOSCOW, April 27. The Russians regard with utmost gravity the Khabarovsk report that the Japanese intend seizing Soviet locomotives and rolling stock with a view to disorganising traffic on the Russian section of the 1 Chinese Eastern Railway between Vladivostok and the Manchurian frontier, ultimately ousting the Soviet from control of the railway.
