ANZAC DAY AT CLINTON

The Anzac Day service under the control of the local Returned Soldiers’ Association was attended by a largo number of returned soldiers. The parade assembled at the post office and marched to the Coronation Hall, where addresses were delivered by the Rev. T. Turner (Presbyterian) and Mr Andrew Johnston, blind soldier evangelist. During the service Piper W. M'Hardy played a lament, and a combined choir assisted with the singing.
