SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES OTTAWA, March 16. The Minister of Finance (Mr E. N. Rhodes) tabled the Supplementary Estimates amounting to 54,380,809 dollars. The largest item (53,422,661 dollars) was for the 'Canadian National Railways. GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS USE OF EMPIRE MATERIALS. OTTAWA, March 15. Empire materials will be used in Government contracts in future, not only those let by departments of the Government, but by the Canadian National Railways, and Government boards and commissions, according to an Ordcr-in-Council that was approved to-day.
