COMMUNITY SINGING

The committee which controls the community singing is fortunate in being able to have the Empire Theatre again this week, through the courtesy of the management. Major Lanipen will be in charge this week, and he is arranging a special programme, including items by a Maori party from Otakou. Mr Paul Cullen will be at the Christie organ, Begg's Orchestra will be assisting, and, as usual,-Miss Rita Holmes will be at the piano. Listeners-in who are unable to attend can send any donations to the secretary, c/o Chas. Begg and Co., Ltd., or to 4YA. If there are goods, these will be disposed of at the session.
