FINANCIAL TROUBLES
CANADA PREPARED BILL UNDER CONSIDERATION. OTTAWA, May 19. 'Parliament may be asked to pass a Bill authorising the Government to take the necessary steps to meet the financial crisis, should one develop in this dominion, Mr R. B. Bennett (Prime Minister) indicated that the Government was considering such a measure. It would be provided that any such legislation should come into effect only upon proclamation.
