BOXING

COMPLIMENTARY TOURNAMENT. An interesting programme of boxing bouts has been arranged for the tournament to be held on Monday night at His Majesty’s Theatre. The principal item of the evening will be the contest between Bert Davis and A. S. Lowe, who will be one of New Zealand’s representatives at the Olympic Games, and in view of Lowe’s early departure for Los Angeles more than passing interest will he centred in his bouf with Davis. Moreton and Arnot, the two promising Milton boys, will also compete. Patrons are promised a lively night of amateur bouts at a moderate charge.
