Lancashire won by an innings and 50 runs. Hampshire, first innings, 135; second, 77. Somerset, first innings, 173; second, none for 43. Somerset won by 10 wickets. Surrey, first innings, f >s (Voce four for 39, S. Staples five for 31). Nottingham, first innings, seven for 256 (G. V. Gunn not out 89). Notts won on the first innings.
Derby, first innings, 108 (Wyatt four for 21) ; second, seven for 214 declared. Warwickshire, first innings, 111 (Mitchell seven for 48) ; second, 88 (Armstrong five for 27). Derby won by 123 runs. Kent, first innings, 167 (Chapman 79, Parker four for 34) ; second innings, two for 208 declared (Woolley not out 90). They followed on for 101 (Geary five for 17). Leicester won by an innings and 185 runs. THE ALL INDIA TEAM DRAWN MATCH WITH GLAMORGAN. LONDON, May 17. Glamorgan in its second innings scored 197 for two wickets declared (Turnbull 72, Dyson 100). All India in its second innings lost four wickets for 184 (Wazirali not out 108). The match was drawn. All India in its first innings scored 194 and Glamorgan 253.
