FLYING BOAT OVERDUE

CONCERN FOR ITS SAFETY NO REPORTS FROM VESSELS t (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) KOEPANG, May 17. (Received May 17, at 7.20 p.m.) A Junkers flying boat left Koepang at midnight on Sunday for Darwin and has not since been reported by vessels in the Timor Sea. The authorities are investigating by radio. A Darwin message reports that anxiety is felt there for the safety of the Junkers seaplane, which is much overdue. The pilot is the German airman Hans Bertram. He is flying from HoJ.gkong to Australia.
