DROVE PRODUCE TO MARKET,

The Eavl of Egmont, who died yesterday, and his son, aged 18, lived simply at Avon Castle since they arrived from their Calgary ranch in 1929. The Earl became a market gardener ajid drove his produce to the nearest markets, where it was sold for cash. He kept several outdoor hands but no indoor servants, father and son doing their own housework in the mansion, which had 43 rooms.
