“HOTEL OF EVERLASTING SPRING”
Air that is toasted or frozen, washed, dried and oiled, is. to bo provided for visitors to the ultra-modern Cumberland Hotel, now being erected at Marble Arch, W. (says an English exchange). It win be the “hotel of everlasting spring.” llefore the outside air enters it will pass through a huge air washer and dehumilicd, in which it will be cleansed of all dust and particles. ... To ensure that not a speck of London soot or grime will escape, it will also be drawn through an oil filter. A refrigerating machine will cool the air in summer, and a bank of heaters will toast it before it is admitted in winter. The plant which will ventilate this huge building, in which at least 2500 people will be employed, ie British.
