A TREMENDOUS RECEPTION DISORDERLY SCENES AT TOKIO. TOKIO, May 14. (Received May 15, at 5.5 p.m.) Charlie Chaplin was accorded a tremendous reception at the Tokio station. Despite the greatest precautions for the control of the crowds and the mobilisation of hundreds of police people overwhelmed both -the station and the hotel, and disorderly scenes were created by those determined to see the comedian.
