The Wanganui Jockey Club’s winter meeting was concluded to-day in fine weather, the track being in better order than on the opening day. The attendance also improved. The totalisator handled £BIBB 10s during the day, compared with £13,551 10s for the second day of last year, making a total for the meeting of £14,085, compared with £24,678 for last year’s meeting.
