TWO SISTERS INJURED f" • KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR CYCLE. (Per UrfiTED Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 14. Two sisters, named Leila and Lily Fox, aged 18 and 17, were knocked down by a motor cyclist when crossing a suburban street to-day. Both were taken to hospital, where Leila , was suffering from concussion. The accident is said to have been due to the cyclist being dazzled by the sun. The cyclist, a boy named Radford, was later. taken to hospital with severe head injuries. / DEATH FROM INJURIES KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR CYCLE. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 15. Samuel Henry Griffiths, a married man, aged 60 years, of Waikuku, died in hospital this morning as the result of injuries received when he was knocked down by a motor cycle at Waikuku on Saturday evening. Griffiths was leading a horse along the road when the accident occurred. The rider of the cycle, Gilbert Treloar, of Atnberley, was also admitted to hospital, suffering from head injuries. FALL FROM BICYCLE A boy named Sydney Dyer, aged 10 years, whose parents reside at 384 King street,' was admitted to the Hospital yesterday afternoon, suffering from a fracture of the right arm. He was cycling along Cumberland street, when the forks of his machine broke and threw him to the ground. KNOCKED TOWN BY CYCLE A married man named William Allan, . 57 years of age, rending in Tweed street, Rosiyn, was knocked down by a bicycle in St. Andrew street on Saturday morning. He wds admitted to the Hospital at 9.45 suffering from concussion. HOCKEY PLAYERS INJURED John M’Dowell, 10 years of age, residing at 37 Corstorphine road, Cavershara, and Roy Kerr, 18 years of age, residing at 10 Baker street, Caversham, received head injuries while playing hockey*-- at Logan Park on Saturday and were admitted to the Hospital for treatment. FOOTBALLER BREAKS ARM While playing Rugby football for Raveusbourne against ’braining College on Saturday, Donald Guthrie, a single man, 30 years of age, residing in Mam road, Raveusbourne, fractured his left arm, and Was admitted to the Hospital at 4 p.m.
