Dated this 30th day of April, 1932. R. K. GARDINER, Returning Officer. ’yyAITAKI HOSPITAL BOARD ELECTo the Ratepayers of the Waitaki County: On May 11 you will be asked to elect six members to represent the County ratepayers on the Hospital Board. Non-sitting men have agreed to be nominated as candidates, not because they wished to offer themselves as aspirants to office but because they have yielded to the requests of strong deputations of dissatisfied ratepayers.

The non-sitting .members are not new and inexperienced men. You will notice if you read their biographies in Saturday’s Times that the non-sitting members are able and experienced, and some of them have had more experience in hosr pital affairs than sitting members, no less than three of whom were not elected by ratepayers at all. The Hospital Bbard is not the special property of the sitting members, and ratepayers object to the inference that they are not able to judge for themselves who is most competent to represent them. Vote for stability, business ability, tirility, and economic efficiency. These qualities are possessed by Rev. A. H. NORDMEYER. Mr W. M. COOPER. . . Mr R. DICK. Mr L. WILLIAMS. INSERTED BY COUNTY RATEPAYERS.
