ACTIVITIES RENEWED CHANGCHOW THREATENED. PEKING, April 14. Renewed Communist activity is reported from Fukien, where “ Red ” armies are threatening Changchow, on the mainland opposite Amoy. Foreigners who reside on the mainland are mostly missionaries, and are preparing a refuge in Amoy, to which the British Consul has requested the despatch of a gunboat. Provincial troops are preparing to take the field against the “Red” invaders.
