Mr Davidson adds that he hates the idea of appearing in public with a hat in his hand, but if he can earn the money for his defence he will do so. The Rev. Harold Davidson, rector of Stiffkey, was charged before the Norwich Consistory Court, at the instance of the .Bishop of Norwich, with a grave series of acts of misconduct under the Clergy Discipline Act, including constant association with women of loose character.
