GAELIC SOCIETY
At the annual meeting of the Gaelic Society, held last evening, the present chief (Mr Thomas Ritchie) was reelected for a further term of office. The chieftains elected were as follow: Messrs Alexander M'Lachlan, Robert M'Lean, Colin, Macdonald, Allan A. Campbell, Alexander Matheson, Murdoch M‘Kenzie, and Angus M'Lcnnan.
