(From Odb Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON, March 18. On Thursday afternoon a team from the Phoenix Ladies’ Bowling Club visited Palmerston, where they defeated the home team by 11 points. The following are the scores (Palmerston names first):— Mesdames M'Kerrow, Cameron, Martin and Fraser 18, Mesdames Watts, Calder, Berry and Glass 20; Mesdames Philip, Ryan, M'Kenney and Korner 16, Mesdames Grenfell. Speid. Adams ami Reid 17; Mesdames Fraser, Young, Hoodie, and M'Lcod 16. Mesdames Forrest, Weaver, Blacklock and Ashton 10; Mesdames Scott, Lang, Ross and Morrison 24, Mesdames Milligan, Thomson, Aikenhead and Wedderspoon 27; Mesdames Ingram, Pickett, Thomas and Haggie 18, Miss Symington. Mesdames Freebury, Robertson and M'Lean 29. Totals: Palmerston 92, Phoenix 103.
