(Received Feb. 25, at 5.5 p.m.) Sir John Simon, the chief British delegate, at the General Commission of the Disarmament Conference at Geneva this afternoon, urged that the draft com vention which had been prepared after five years’ work by the Preparatory Disarmament Commission should be used as the framework for discussions. The proposal was supported by the representatives of France, America, Germany, and Italy. The Soviet delegate asked the commission first to vote on the proposal for complete disarmament. The vote will be taken to-morrow. THE FRENCH PROPOSALS. SUPPORTED BY GREECE. GENEVA, February 24. Greece has approved of France’s disarmament proposals. ,
