LECTURE TO MOTOR CLUB

Before a fairly large gathering of members of the Otago Motor Chib last evening an interesting lecture on the use of cold bitumenous emulsions in the construction of road surfaces was given by Mr Malcolm Beranger, an authority on the use of these road-forming substances. The president of the club (Mr J. L. Passmore introduced the speaker, who was given an attentive hearing. During the lecture a kinematograph- film showing the various methods of using the emulsions was shown, and at the conclusion of his address Mr Beranger was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
