CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, January 7. The weather was fine and sunny all day. There was a light breeze from the south. The barometer is steady at 30.00 in, WELLINGTON, January 7. There was sunshine in Wellington most of the day, with an overcast sky andat times a strong northerly. The wind dropped towards the evening and the weather was cooler. CHRISTCHURCH, January 7. The weather to-day was sunny, with a cool breeze from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 68 degrees. The barometer fell from 29.83 to 29.70 during the day.
