COMPLIMENTARY CONCERT

Preparations have been in hand since June by members of the Royal Dunedin Male Choir, the Choral Society, the Returned Soldiers’ Choir, Dunedin Musical Society, Mr Drake’s Choir, the Leech Lyric Choir. Knox Church Choir, Maori Hill Choir, Central Mission Choir, Orchestral Society, and the Philharmonic Society to present the lovely work of Mr Charles A. Martin at a complimentary concert to him to be given in the Town Hall on Saturday, August 22. The following artists have been asked to take part in the programme:—Madame Winnie Fraser, Signorina Rossi, Miss Mary Pratt, Dr Galway, Messrs G. W. Johnstone, John Leech, Ernest Drake. Alfred Waltnsley, B, Blair, Max Scherck, and Mr J. A. Wallace. Mr Paget Gale has offered his services as accompanist, and Mr C. A. Martin will conduct the musical work.
