INFORMAL VISIT TO LONDON INTERVIEW WITH MINISTERS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 18. Mr Andrew Mellon (Secretary to the United States Treasury), who is in London on an informal visit, was visited at his hotel to-day by Mr Montague Norman (governor ,of the Bank of England), who remained for luncheon. Mi' Mellon, who had a talk at the House of Commons yesterday with Mr Ramsay Macdonald and'Mr Arthur Henderson, had a further interview with these Ministers this afternoon. A SERIES OF CONFERENCES. LONDON, June 18. . The diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Express says: “Mr Mellon has been engaged since his arrival in a series of conferences, to which great importance is attached in political and financial circles. He has had two long interviews with Mr MacDonald.” The correspondent proceeds to say that Mr Mellon was invited to London to discuss a revision of war debts.
