(Received April 12, at 7.35 p.m.) Helene Madison has set a new worlds record, displacing Lackie Mark for the 60 yards free style, .her time being 24 4-ssec. PACIFIC CYCLE CLUB 4 pleasing feature of the opening ride of the Pacific Cycle Club was the excellent attendance which turned out under the guidance of the cycle captain, H. Or. Cooper, for a very enjoyable ride to Scrogg’s Hill and back. Several new riders participated in the ride and showed encouraging form. In a fast sprint home G. Hctherington, J. Campbell, and M. Beale were in the van. After the ride the members were entertained at tea by the committee at the Hydro Tea Rooms.
